Trans Affirming
A social support organization for youth who live in or near St. Louis, are 21 and under and may identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, asexual or questioning. Support group meetings are held at various locations throughout St. Louis. Meets on Tuesdays at 7pm in St. Charles and Thursdays at 7pm in the Central West End, St. Louis. Location: St. Louis, St. Charles Serves: Youth up to 21 __Update Feb 14, 2023:__ "They are meeting in St. Charles on the same nights that [PFLAG St. Charles meets](https://www.pflagstl.org/calendar/pflag-greater-st-louis-2/), usually on Tuesdays. They are meeting virtually and they have done so since 2020. PFLAG Meeting Calendar: [https://www.pflagstl.org/calendar/pflag-greater-st-louis-2/](https://www.pflagstl.org/calendar/pflag-greater-st-louis-2/) Their social media is pretty outdated and I've only found information by messaging them on Facebook. They tend to take 1+ months to respond. I think I got the most current information I have from a PFLAG newsletter. Their next meeting should be Feb 28th and it's the same location as PFLAG St. Charles, just in another room." __Update Jul 2024:__ "Growing American Youth's meetings, previously held in St. Charles and St. Louis City, are currently on hold for a refresh of the program. Several key organizations (e.g. Youth in Need, Pride St. Charles, SQSH, and PFLAG Greater St. Louis) are coming together to revitalize this much-needed group. We look forward to sharing details when the meetings resume in the future."

In order to keep our communities alive and thriving, THRIVE offers both crisis and warmline support. That means we help texters with deescalation/safety planning as well as just providing a safe space to talk about their identities and navigate barriers they’re facing. We are not currently running the TRANS support group, but we still maintain an active and supportive discord server for trans / nonbinary humans (anyone 16+): https://thriv.life/TRANS_Discord

HIV+ Support Group Free and confidential support group for anyone on the sexuality spectrum with a HIV+ diagnosis -- and/or their partners. It is led by a Sex Therapist who is also poz. This group is an open community being built upon kindness, compassion, and a sense of humor. We bring the fun into support. We are a sex-positive and adult HIV group, where sexuality-focused discussion and games are at the center of many meetings. This allows us to "bring back the sexy" and reclaim our sexual selves after our diagnoses -- we are still able to have fun and to feel sexy, regardless of status. We also host meetups, such as to the Zoo, the local museums, and cafes. We always have free food and drink, and we always play games and socialize. Please give our group a shot if you need support or even if you just want to be a part of the growing POZitive community in Saint Louis. 1st Tuesdays are at Empowered: A Center for Sexuality, LLC and 3rd Tuesdays are at Pride St. Louis.
