PFLAG Greater St. Louis (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) promotes the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people, their parents, families, and friends through support, education, and advocacy.
They have three volunteer-led, confidential monthly meetings across the St. Louis area in St. Louis County, St. Charles, and Ferguson (virtual). Attendees include parents, grandparents, allies, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. All are welcome. The meetings' purpose is to provide safe, confidential space for individuals to discuss topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity.
In partnership with other national and local organizations, they also advocate to secure equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community and to create a society that respects, values and celebrates human diversity. They also help educate our community about sexual orientation and gender identity through speaking engagements and participation in local events.
