Provides support for friends and families of LGBT people, as well as education to the larger community and advocacy.

Some of their services include:

  • Toll-free help line: 816-765-9818 (Confidential and anonymous, trained parent and family volunteers available to answer questions, listen, and provide resources)
  • One-to-One Parent Support (Over the phone or in person, match your situation to that of one of their volunteers)
  • Support Groups (Take place on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month, confidential)

PFLAG also partners with other associations to advocate for intersex folks, speak out against conversion therapy, increase workplace equality, create safer school environments, and more!
