The group is open to youth ages 14 through 20 who currently participate in Epworth programming and meets on a monthly basis. Facilitated by highly trained Epworth team members, the group explores issues related to gender identity and expression and takes part in presentations and conversations led by LGBTQI+ educators and health experts. Generous support and resources to sustain the group are provided by local businesses, churches, and individual benefactors. - Epworth LGBTQI+ Group is held on the first Thursday of each month from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, currently online via the Zoom platform. In July 2024 Epworth staff completed 3 trans competency trainings with Trans Housing Initiative St. Louis (THISTL).
