Description

S.A.F.E. ALTERNATIVES® is a nationally recognized treatment approach, professional network, and educational resource base, which is committed to helping people achieve an end to self-injurious behavior.

A treatment team of experts uses therapy, education, and support to empower clients to identify healthier ways to cope with emotional distress. Treatment programs of different lengths and intensities are provided.They offer individual and family therapy.

S.A.F.E. Choice® is a once a week outpatient group psychotherapy program offered in six-week segments. Appropriate candidates are adolescents and adults who self-injure and want to change the behavior.

S.A.F.E. Focus® is a voluntary support group which utilizes guidelines developed by the S.A.F.E. ALTERNATIVES® Program.
