Description

Kindred Currents is run by Monica Brown (they/them), an acupuncturist, herbalist, and a practitioner of classical East Asian medicine. Monica's role is to support you and your body to reconnect and remember your innate ability to heal.

Monica offers acupuncture, acupressure, moxa & cupping, bodywork, herbal medicine, and weekly qigong classes in the park!

  • Initial acupuncture sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $80-200+. All follow up sessions are offered on a sliding scale of $40-100+.
  • Weekly drop-in Qigong classes are offered on Tuesdays 6-7pm. First class is free, and following classes are on a sliding scale of $0-10/class.

  • people with a history of relational or collective trauma
  • mental health & neurodivergence in all its forms
  • formerly incarcerated individuals
  • everyday people looking for support with their physical, emotional, and spiritual well being
