Description

PFLAG Greater St. Louis (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) envisions a world where diversity is celebrated and all people are respected, valued, and affirmed inclusive of their sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. Through our core values of meeting people where they are and collaborating with others, PFLAG seeks to realize our vision through support, education, and advocacy.

PFLAG Greater St. Louis promotes the health and well-being of LGBTQ+ people, their parents, families, and friends through support, education, and advocacy. Our primary support activities are monthly support groups – safe, confidential opportunities to share, ask questions, and learn together - in Ferguson, Mid-County, and St. Charles plus one virtual meeting. We help educate our community about sexual orientation and gender identity through speaking engagements and participation in local events.

In partnership with other national and local organizations, we advocate to secure equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community and to create a society that respects, values and celebrates human diversity. The best way to get in touch with us is though our website www.pflagstl.org, pflagstl@gmail.com, or our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/PFLAG-St-Louis-302422903478140).

PFLAG Greater St. Louis offers monthly peer support meetings for members of the St. Louis area community.

Our meetings provide a safe, confidential space for individuals to discuss topics related to sexual orientation and gender identity. PFLAG Greater St. Louis’ support group can help you understand and navigate the wonderful world that is the LGBTQ+ community.
