Description
Understanding Minds is a locally owned and operated mental health practice with a mission to provide ethical, compassionate, and collaborative mental health services, empowering clients to realize meaningful change in their lives and communities. We serve individuals aged 3+, couples, and families at our two St. Louis County offices and by telehealth throughout Missouri. All of our providers work to deliver culturally competent, affirming, and individually tailored care.
To support accessibility, we offer:
- In-network services with most major insurances, including some Medicaid and Medicare plans
- Private pay services
- Multiple options for format and frequency of therapy sessions
- Appointments in office or by telehealth
- Evening and weekend appointments

Our clinical providers work diverse schedules, and several offer appointments during evenings and on weekends.
