"FamilyForward moves vulnerable children in the direction of hope by delivering comprehensive therapeutic and educational services to support biological, foster, and adoptive families."

We primarily focus on serving foster youth, youth 18 and under who’ve experienced abuse / neglect, as well as young parents wanting support through pregnancy & parenting. We provide a variety of mental health services and educational classes.

Services for children and families:

  • Trauma assessment and psychological evaluation
  • Individual, family, and group counseling available in-home and in-office
  • Coaching classes and support for parents and caregivers
  • Trauma training for professionals
  • Foster care and adoption services
  • Free early childhood center for children who have experienced early adversity

Restrictions/Eligibility Criteria

    Having experienced abuse or neglect in one's lifetime qualifies one for services. All kids in foster care qualify for services. Services end at age 18 / end of one's 18th year. Programs for parents / caregivers have no age limit for the parent / caregiver, but services end once the youngest child in the home reaches 3 years old.
