Description

Provides housing and related supportive services to improve quality of life and health outcomes for people affected by HIV/AIDS. An interfaith organization established in 1988, whose sole mission is the provision of safe, secure and affordable housing for people living with HIV/AIDS. Provides a complete continuum of housing options ranging from direct rental subsidy to licensed residential care units. Services available 15 Missouri and Illinois counties surrounding the metropolitan St. Louis region.

Services offered: Provides housing and related services to those affected by HIV/AIDS, has many housing programs for varying situations

Accessibility: Need a verified diagnosis of HIV/AIDS, proof of financial need, and should be enrolled in HIV/AIDS case management services through an agency; once you are enrolled in case management, you can be referred to DOORWAYS by health care providers, social service providers and case managers

Staff completed one trans competency training with Trans Housing Initiative St. Louis in January 2024.
