Through 24-hour access to mental health and crisis response services, Behavioral Health Response (BHR) delivers timely, trauma‑informed care to communities nationwide. Behavioral Health Response provides free confidential telephone counseling to people in mental health crises as well as mobile outreach services, community referral services and critical incident stress management (CISM).

While BHR maintains physical service locations in St. Louis, Missouri, the organization provides telephonic and remote services across 32 states, supporting a growing national footprint and ensuring access to care across the country.

Can provide referrals to wide range of mental health services. Typically staffed by social workers. Some operators are queer friendly.
